We offer a number of courses at our exclusive Appletree Driver Training Centre between Banbury and Daventry. It's a complete off road experience with junctions, crossroads, roundabouts and a hill start area for younger and more nervous learner drivers. Drivecraft has its own private classroom and driving circuit at the Appletree Driver Training Centre. This enables confidence-building and manoeuvring exercises to take place without any distractions caused by other road users. Appletree Circuit has a marked out road system with hill start, roundabouts, crossroads, T-junctions, manoeuvring and parking area.
The Drivecraft site is located within 5 miles of M40, just off A361 near Chipping Warden village. Our close proximity to Banbury and Daventry permits us to offer on-road training on all types of road, and this is something our students really appreciate.
These very successful courses offer training for the beginner or the more experienced motor caravanner.
The classroom has both visual and physical training aids, which together with our Driving Standards Agency (DSA) Approved Driving Instructors (ADI) means that the student receives very high quality tuition.
(Category B+E: Vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes MAM towing trailers over 750kgs MAM Category B+E allows vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes MAM to be combined with trailers in excess of 750kgs MAM. In order to gain this entitlement new category B licence holders have to pass a further practical test for category B+E. There is no category B+E theory test. For driver licensing purposes there are no vehicle/trailer weight ratio limits for category B+E.) If you are considering towing for the first time, or are about to buy a caravan or trailer, take a Drivecraft course to take the danger and hassle out of towing. We also have courses suitable for the more experienced caravanner. One to one or group courses, car and caravan can be supplied. We carry out complete training towards the B+E licence category towing driving test.
