How a swap actually happens

You list your test date and the dates you'd prefer — takes two minutes, needs only your email and a licence check.

Our matcher looks for a learner at your centre who wants the opposite, where you BOTH end up closer to the dates you asked for.

Both sides confirm the match. Nobody's details are shared until then.

One of you calls DVSA on 0300 200 1122 with both booking references. DVSA security-checks the caller, then phones your match on the number on their booking to confirm — and the swap is official.

Done — your new date lands in your dashboard, calendar file included.
The law since 12 May 2026: only the learner taking the test may change or swap it. That's why the final step is always your own phone call — we introduce, you decide, DVSA confirms.
