Payments, credit and “paid ahead” explained

The difference between money owed, prepaid credit and unpaid lessons.

Your portal separates three things so the numbers are always honest:

  • Prepaid credit — money you've paid ahead, waiting to cover future lessons. This shows as 'paid ahead'.
  • Unpaid lessons — lessons you've taken that haven't been paid for yet.
  • Amount owed — any back-charge agreed with your instructor (rare).

When you have credit, it's netted off what you owe — so if your credit covers your lessons, you'll see 'paid ahead', never a false 'owing'.

Paid ahead and still see a small 'due'? It usually means you've taken slightly more hours than your credit covers — top up and it clears.
