These are practice routes our instructors know — not official DVSA routes. The DVSA randomises and updates test routes, so treat these as preparation, not a script.
Northampton
Gladstone Business Centre, Gladstone Road, Northampton · NN5 7QA
Northampton's DVSA test centre is on Gladstone Road in St James, just off Weedon Road and close to Sixfields. Routes from here mix fast roads (the A45 and Weedon Road) with tight residential estates around St James, Duston and Far Cotton, plus the multi-lane Sixfields and Riverside roundabouts. Our instructors drive these roads every week.
Kettering
Northfield Avenue, Kettering · NN16 9HX
The Kettering test centre is on Northfield Avenue. Routes take in the town centre, Barton Seagrave and the surrounding A-roads.
Wellingborough
Wellingborough · NN8
Wellingborough routes combine the town centre one-way system with the residential roads around Midland Road and London Road.
Banbury
Banbury · OX16
Brackley and Towcester learners usually test at Banbury. Routes mix market-town streets with faster rural roads.
