Both start on the 📅 Diary — tap the lesson. There's no ‘delete’; you either cancel it or record a no-show.
To cancel a lesson (with notice — no charge)
- 1Tap the lesson → at the bottom tap Cancel lesson.
- 2Confirm “Cancel {name}'s lesson on {date}?”
The lesson is marked cancelled (kept for your records, never fully deleted). If the pupil paid for it from credit, that credit goes straight back to their account.
To mark a no-show (pupil didn't turn up)
- 1Tap the lesson → tap 🚫 Mark No-Show.
- 2Tick the checklist — Pupil agreed on last call · Sent a message · Knocked on the door · Called · Waited 15 minutes.
- 3Choose Charge the pupil? — Charge £[price] or Don't charge.
- 4Tap Confirm No-Show.
In one line: Cancel = called off with notice (no charge). No-Show = didn't turn up — tick what you did, then decide whether to charge. The checklist is your proof.
